Board Announces New “Pending Discipline” Feature on Website

The Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania has completed the rollout of a new feature on its website. In a continued effort to increase transparency and to serve as a resource on attorney regulation, the Look Up an Attorney function now features a “pending discipline” advisory when a status change is to be effective. For example, when looking up an attorney with a pending status change, a user might see: “Active; Suspended Effective xx/xx/xxxx”. The Disciplinary Board plans to expand this feature to be used not only for status changes due to disciplinary action but also for routine changes between Active, Inactive, and Retired status.
