The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania has several committees and boards responsible for writing and enforcing rules for judges, attorneys, and litigants to ensure an efficient and fair judicial review. The Supreme Court appoints volunteers to the committees and boards as vacancies occur.
There are currently two vacancies for the Disciplinary Board:
- Board Member – this position is for a Pennsylvania lawyer currently active and in good standing
- Board Member – this position is for a non-lawyer
The Disciplinary Board is comprised of 13 members (11 attorneys, 2 non-attorneys), each of which is appointed by the Supreme Court to a term of three years. The Supreme Court designates one member as the Board Chair and one member as the Board Vice Chair.
