Attorney John F. Cordisco has been re-appointed to serve as a member of the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
First appointed to the board in April 2015, Cordisco of Bucks County will begin serving his new three-year term beginning April 1, 2018. Cordisco also previously served as a Disciplinary Board Hearing Committee Member in Disciplinary District II.
“It is an honor and a pleasure to serve as a member of the Disciplinary Board and to have the confidence of the Supreme Court supporting my re-appointment,” Cordisco said. “I look forward to continuing the work of the board to safeguard the reputation of the courts.”
Created in 1972, the 13-member Disciplinary Board is an independent agency under the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction. Its members include 11 attorneys and two non-lawyers from across the state. Funded by annual assessments paid by attorneys licensed to practice in the Commonwealth, the board assists the Supreme Court in all matters involving attorney licensing and discipline.
Cordisco is a founding partner of Cordisco & Saile LLC in Bucks County and focuses his practice on personal injury litigation. A former member of the Pa House of Representatives, Cordisco served constituents of Bucks County from 1981 to 1986. During his tenure in office, he served as Chairman of the House Committee on Veteran’s Health Care and as a member of the Judiciary and Labor Relations Committees.
