By order of the Court of Appeals of Maryland dated June 26, 1997, Respondent was indefinitely suspended from the practice of law in the State of Maryland in response to a Petition for Indefinite Suspension by Consent that had been filed jointly by Respondent and the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland. By order of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals dated November 5, 1998, Respondent was reciprocally disbarred from the practice of law in the District of Columbia. In 2000, Respondent reported her discipline in Maryland and the District of Columbia to the Disciplinary Board.
By Notice and order dated November 30, 2000, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court directed Respondent to inform the Court of any claim she had that the imposition of identical or comparable discipline in this Commonwealth would be unwarranted and the reasons therefore. Respondent did not file a response.
By order dated February 5, 2001, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court disbarred Respondent from the practice of law in Pennsylvania. |
