In 2007, Respondent was indefinitely suspended from the practice of law in the State of Maryland “with the right to reapply for readmission after 90 days.” Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland v. Victor Mba-Jonas, 397 Md. 690, 919 A.2d 669 (2007). The Pennsylvania Supreme Court reciprocally suspended Respondent from the practice of law in Pennsylvania “consistent with the Opinion and Order of the Court of Appeals of Maryland filed March 20, 2007.”
By Opinion and Order of the Court of Appeals of Maryland filed December 4, 2007, the Court of Appeals of Maryland continued the indefinite suspension and granted Respondent the right to reapply for readmission after six months from the date of the court’s Opinion and Order. Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland v. Victor Mba-Jonas, 402 Md. 334, 936 A.2d 839 (2007). By Order dated October 16, 2008, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court continued the previous reciprocal suspension “consistent with the Opinion and Order of the Court of Appeals of Maryland filed December 4, 2007.”
