Respondent failed to return his PA Attorney's Annual Fee Form and pay the annual fee by July 1, 2006 and was transferred to inactive status. Despite receiving notification on several occasions that he had not complied with the Rules, Respondent remained counsel of record in several active litigation matters after his transfer to inactive status. Respondent failed to notify his clients, opposing counsel and the court of his inability to continue as counsel of record in those matters. On or about May 17, 2007, Respondent completed and submitted to the Office of Lawyer Assessment his 2007-2008 PA Attorney's Annual Fee Form and included the total payment due, including arrearages of $550. The form was received by the Office of Lawyer Assessment on June 8, 2007, and Respondent was transferred to active status on July 1, 2007. |
