Respondent was reciprocally suspended for five years based on his exclusion from practice for five years before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”).
Respondent was excluded from practice before the USPTO for, among other things, failing to promptly refund fees paid in advance that had not been earned, neglect and failure to communicate.
Respondent opposed the imposition of reciprocal discipline in Pennsylvania.
At the time of the Court’s August 27, 2009 suspension, Respondent was still serving a prior reciprocal suspension that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court had imposed in October of 2007.
