Case Digest Respondent was convicted of wire fraud affecting a financial institution, arising from his acceptance of two payments from an adverse party in civil litigation in which he was involved. Respondent did not disclose his receipt of the funds to either his client or the law firm by which he was employed. Respondent was sentenced to home confinement based upon evidence of medical problems and the courtís belief that Respondent had lost his license to practice law. The Disciplinary Board found that Respondent was contrite, did not harm his clients, and did not act disloyally.
