Respondent was placed on inactive status by order of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania for failure to comply with his CLE requirements. Thereafter, Respondent held himself out as an attorney in good standing by filing pleadings on behalf of his wife, a defendant in a civil action. Respondent continued to represent the defendant despite notification by opposing counsel, Disciplinary Counsel, and the Superior Court of Pennsylvania that his actions were improper. Respondent failed to appear at his disciplinary hearing or participate in the process. Both the Hearing Committee and the Disciplinary Board recommended a suspension of two years. The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, by order dated December 29, 2005, suspended Respondent for a period of two years.
