Petitioner was suspended for two years in July 2002 for two years, retroactive to his temporary suspension in January 2002, as reciprocal discipline based upon his March 8, 2001 suspension by the Board of Immigration Appeals for counseling clients to submit materially false information to the INS in order to secure favorable immigration status. ODC offered evidence that while under federal suspension, Petitioner maintained his practice through a partnership and under the rubric of his state admission. The Board rejected ODC’s arguments that Petitioner did not take full responsibility for his misconduct and that his Braun mitigation was not credible. |
