Respondent was convicted in California for leaving the scene of an accident in violation of California Vehicle Code Section 20001(a). On September 13, 2004, the Supreme Court of California suspended Respondent from the practice of law in California for a six-month period. The suspension was stayed and Respondent was placed on probation with conditions for a period of three years. ODC initiated reciprocal discipline proceedings under Rule 216, Pa.R.D.E. Respondent, through counsel, did not object to the imposition of reciprocal discipline in Pennsylvania. By order dated January 21, 2005, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania imposed reciprocal discipline consistent with that imposed by the Supreme Court of California. |
