Respondent was convicted for driving under the influence of alcohol. He also had a prior record of a private reprimand in 1999 as a result of a prior conviction in 1997, as well as another conviction for DUI. Respondent presented the testimony of a psychiatrist and others who discussed Respondent’s alcoholism and his current efforts to deal with it. The Disciplinary Board concluded that Respondent was in the early stages of recovery and recommended a suspension for two years, to be stayed in its entirety with two years of probation imposed. |
