Respondent was suspended for four (4) years after his conviction in federal court of one charge of possessing cocaine with intent to deliver (social/accommodation distribution). Respondent had been drug free for twelve years at the time of hearing, had married and become a father, and had worked as a paralegal doing research and writing, which serves were described as excellent. He expressed remorse for his actions. The Disciplinary Board found he had proven that he was morally qualified, competent and learned in the law, and that his reinstatement would not be detrimental to the bar or the public. |
